Frankfurt City tour (1)

I visited Frankfurt using city tour bus. It was good idea to use city bus. Easy to visit and didn't have to be worry about losting direction and gave detail explaination about place. Very good choice. below are the photos that I took. Enjoy them!!

Site view at night in Shinjuku, Tokyo

We stay the hotel located nearby Shinjuku. Shinjuku is a manjor commercial and administrative center(include Metropolitan Government Building). But more ever, I love this place because Shinjuku is the center of Tokyo subway system and bus station. You can visit any place come from Shinjuku.

On the way of people back from their works, young musician started playing his music and sing a song. His voice came through people's heart and tried to hold people's shoe. It's like seasons to this gray busy city. You could enjoy the shopping as well. Surrounding Shinjuku Station are department stores, electronic and camera shops, cinemas, resturants(little bit expensive) and animation character shops.

Right in front of subway station gate, there is Dougnut & coffee shop. Even time was 9pm, as you can see in the photo, many people was still in the line. When time is close to shut down, one person started to distribute number paper. It was number in line so that people can go back to home and come back tomorrow! It was such impressed sight that I'v never seen before.

Shops close at 10 pm. Once most of shop close, then only small restaurant still opened and called late customers.
In fact, there are nothing to much things to do after 1o pm. So, it's better to go back to hotel.

Quinta Del Rey Hotel Toluca in Mexico

You would never image what kind of hotel it is.... Hotel is located Toluca and nearby main road street. It is so amazing experience to stay this hotel. Every single part of this hotel is so great and so thoughtful. Even they made shape on tissues and towels as swan shape (see the pictures!!). Whole area inside this hotel is like museum include your room. I never experienced this wonderful place before and after all. There is no place like this hotel across major cities in USA, China, Japan, and Germany that I ever visited.

There are many arts in the walls every aisle and some of them are quite impressed (see the pictures!!). Every room has windows which can bring you out to main garden. Such beautiful garden you will never expected. I hang around and took some pictures to share with my family and friends.

In the way of main building at right, there is small beautiful church. And this place surprised me as well. You can see the various statues on the chairs and walls. To me, this small church has an atmosphere of mystery, as if it were enchanted with fairies.

Restaurant in right aside of front lobby, gave me comfort and peaceful time yourself. Especially at night, the pianist plays soothing music with great dexterity. I love the moment with great food and coffee with wonderful music. Food was so great but I loved more waiters’ support. He was more like friend to me in such short time. He was marvelous, Warm and witty and kind considering on me.

At Friday night, it was little loud in the middle of night from the bar nearby lobby (they might have party at Friday night), but it was another experience as well. I recommend you as one of MUST VISIT place you must stay.

Mexico City Dec16,2006

Mexico City…

This was the first time in Mexico. Weather was so nice even just right corner of Christmas. From the airport, you can small the Spanish Latin culture. But soon I faced the unexpected problems.

When I got out from exit there was Taxi guider who had well suit with tie. He holds picket that Taxi service with English.

So I approached him and he brought me to the taxi. But he brought me to outside of airport by walk in several blocks and called the taxi (very old, no air-conditioning, and driver cannot speak English). Then he asked me 80 US dollars. I was shock because it was 3 times expensive than I knew. I could not go back to airport and there were no other taxi. I told them that I only have 65 dollars in cash. But they didn’t listen to me. So I showed my wallet and gave all money paper that I had (it was 65 dollars). Then he accepted and started to drive. It took me around 25 minutes from there to hotel. I felt so bad. It was the first event that I got in Mexico.

There were so many cars out there and traffic was serious in Mexico City. Young boys and girls tried to sell small souvenir through the windows and they didn’t put on shoes. I would like to buy some but I couldn’t because I gave all money to driver as taxi fee.

Through the windows, I saw many houses on every hill. Between houses, there was no gap (it looked like one big apartment covered low mountains. Children on the street showed me pure and innocent eyes. While I thinking stuffs, taxi driver turned around me and pointed outside. There you are… the hotel.
